Welcome to Paddle for Life 2026
The 17th Annual Voyage to Lānaʻi
October 3–4, 2026
For 17 years, Paddle for Life has brought together cancer survivors, caregivers, supporters, paddlers, and community members for a journey unlike any other.
What began as a single voyage has grown into a movement that has raised more than $2 million to support Maui County families facing cancer. Together, we paddle to honor loved ones, celebrate survivorship, remember those we've lost, and ensure that no one faces cancer alone.
Whether this is your first crossing or your seventeenth, mahalo for being part of the Paddle for Life ʻohana.
A New Chapter for Paddle for Life
As Paddle for Life enters its 17th year, we are taking important steps to strengthen the future of this event and the impact it has on our community.
The need for cancer support services across Maui County continues to grow. At the same time, producing a safe and successful two-island voyage requires significant coordination, safety resources, permits, logistics, and community partnerships.
To help ensure Paddle for Life can continue serving our community for years to come, we are introducing several updates for 2026.
Paddler Pledge
Each paddler will make an individual fundraising pledge of $1,000, including a $300 registration fee.
Safety & Readiness
All participants will complete required safety training, orientation, and event briefings before launch.
Stewardship of Lānaʻi
As guests on Lānaʻi, we share responsibility for honoring cultural protocol, caring for the land, and protecting the future of this voyage for generations to come.
A MESSAGE FROM JENNY & KIMOKEO
Paddle for Life has always been about more than crossing a channel.
It is about showing up for one another. It is about honoring the people we paddle for. It is about proving that when our community comes together, extraordinary things are possible.
The needs of Maui County families facing cancer continue to grow, and so does our responsibility to meet those needs. The updates you'll see for 2026 are designed to strengthen this event, deepen its impact, and ensure that future generations can continue this voyage for years to come.
Mahalo for considering being part of this journey. We look forward to paddling with you.
